is a community-based organization that promotes African music in BIRMINGHAM through its annual flagship music festival SOUTHERN AFRICA XPERIENCE, OUR TEAM ARE among the oldest and most respected INDIVIDUALS promoting African music in BIRMINGHAM UK. Through OUR activities and events, such as the annual SOUTHERN AFRICA XPERIENCE, MFM ENTERTAINMENT is committed to enhancing appreciation and awareness of African music among ST AFRICANS IN BIRMINGHAM and continues to strive to establish BIRMINGHAM as a thriving global center for African music.

SOUTHERN AFRICA FEST seeks to share the rich and diverse expressions of African music and culture in an inclusive, vibrant and positive community festival setting. Through SOUTHERN AFRICA XPERIENCE, a diverse audience celebrates the abundant energy of African music in an effort to cultivate community spirit and enhance the understanding and appreciation of the diverse people of Africa.

SOUTHERN AFRICA XPERIENCE

is ONE OF the largest African Music Festival in WEST MIDMLANDS. Through our programming over the years, MFM ENTERTAINMENT has become one of the most important African cultural organizations in BIRMINGHAM. We present multicultural events and initiatives that aim at celebrating the beauty and diversity of African cultural heritage and reducing or eliminating anti-Black racism in BIRMINGHAM.

• Programming Philosophy: Genres of music which showcase African and Black culture (Afrobeat, Afropop, Amapiano, Soukous, Makossa, ZIM DANCEHALL, ZIM HIP HOP, SA HOUSE, ZAMBIAN MUSIC, MALAWIAN MUSIC, Rumba etc.)

• Lineup focuses on local artists but also includes SOUTHERN AFRICAN international artists.

It has not been an easy journey getting here and MFM ENTERTAINMENT is set to celebrate African Music, AFRICAN CULTURE and African music stars at this year’s SOUTHERN AFRICA XPERIENCE. The anticipation is high as preparations go into frenzy mode, something really special is about to happen in BIRMINGHAM,  EASTER WEEKEND 2024 with the celebration of African music like never before.
